My 8 minute review : Murder By Numbers

Im only 8 minutes into a movie " Murder by Numbers " and I already rank Sandra Bullock contender for least convincing detective/cop EVER.

Its like having Stiffler as a FBI agent in a serious drama. It works like Ellen Degeneres doing heterosexual romantic comdies.

I have no idea what the rest of the movie is like but I cant take it seriously as long as Bullock is the lead cop.

UPDATE: we finished it.. it was stupider than this sentence.

Rant: Why Jeffrey Ou should not feel guilty

I dont really follow America Got Talent nor do i care about these two people but there is a bigger issue at hand. Jeffrey Ou , an asian-american pianist upset Bri whateverhernameis , a teenage female white pop singer/performer in fan voting. They both got talent , Bri was probably better , Jeffrey beat her out probably caz he dominated the asian vote and there is an uproar among the tards.

Now , Jeffrey , do not feel ashamed or guilty that you beat a white girl because of the popular vote amongst asian-americans. Its no different than white america watching a show caz some pretty white people are on. They dont know shit about talent , why do you think Shitney Spears , or Asthon Kutcher are so popular? you think Asshat Kucher is a great actor??? fuck that shit.. he gets the popular vote caz he's a pretty white boy. Take that hypocrite stick and shove it back up your asses , white america.

Back to Jeffrey Ou.. if he wins this caz "Asian Americans" are uniting to do what white americans have been doing for centuries.. and thats promoting some jackass based on the colour of their skin.. dont feel guilty Jeffrey Ou. There are millions and millions of asian american boys who feel shitty about themselves caz they aint a pretty white boy and you are giving them hope that pretty white people do not set the standard at anything. BTW Jeffrey Ou had a techinical difficulty that messed up his performance , all he got was a "good luck kid even though its our fault". On 'Britians Got Talent' , some little white girl screwed up , started to cry and they let her redo her act later in the night... wow. Imagine if Jeffrey Ou was a pretty white boy.. do you think he would get a redo?

Review : Shaw's Extreme Speed INternet...

Apparently I've had this service the last month for free , I didnt even know. I guess I should actually read their notification emails. Anyhoo.. the point being , I noticed NOTHING.

Excuse my french but Fuck it. Bullshit. ALl this time I had extreme speed internet.. I seriously didnt notice squat shit.

Book Review: Million Little Pieces by James Frey

So I've neglected my reading in the last 7-8 years so I figure I should get my brain back into reading mode. Last week I borrowed a book " A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey. Yes the infamous James Frey but fortunately I forgot who he was so I read this book with an unbiased and open mind. When I finished reading the book , it was Incredible emotional rollercoaster ride that you really latch yourself onto from the opening page.

The story is written as a memoir of the author when he was 23 yrs old and entering a rehab clinic in Minnesota. It opens with him on a airplane , destroyed physically and mentally on route to this clinic and the reader is hooked. You go through every thought and struggle James experiences and before you know it , its as if its the memoirs of the reader.

Now , when I finished this book there were moments when I actually teared up and moments when I reemed with excitement , by the end I was in such a surreal state of mind. Then I looked up James Frey to see an update now and maybe see pics of the characters... then the whole James Frey "controversy" story came back to me. James Frey was accused of fraud and exaggerating his story and confronted by Oprah herself. It all came back to me but I wasnt as upset as Oprah was when I discovered certain parts were fabricated or made up. I took it for what it was worth , i looked back and I sought through the questionable tales and endured the truthful journals.

In the end , i was disappointed that this was more a based on a true story rather than a memoir YET it contained enough truth to it that its close enough. As George Stroumboulopoulos said "everybody bullshits in their memoirs".. very true. I recommend this book , especially now that the hype is dead and the controversy has been put to rest.. its still a great read and an outstanding journey of a man rediscovering himself and the world he lives in.
